Curriculum
Himali Boarding School is affiliated to Indian Certificate Of Secondary Education, New Delhi and is divided into three fundamental divisions The Primary, The Secondary and The Higher Secondary.
Academic Aspects
Each student is challenged and encouraged to achieve his or her potential. There is a tradition of excellence, sound and stimulating teaching in the fundamentals of all subjects. Academic progress is carefully monitored re regularly assessed.
In all subjects the curriculum is sequential so that students develop the independent study skills and intrinsic motivation to explore new limits of knowledge.
The year after year Himali Boarding School offers the largest number of candidates in the District for the Board examinations, not with the myopic view of protecting accolades that come with sending 30 odd candidates and boasting of a 100% success rate, but relying on the faith that each individual deserves the integrity to find within himself esteem one associates with given opportunity. Specialist teachers (IIT Gold Medallists) are used are Resource Support for staff to aid in assessment and Carrier Counseling and course selection seminars are held for secondary and higher secondary students by outside experts.
Workshops in preparation for Joint Entrance Examinations for various universities are held in special Winter Sessions.
Winter workshops are conducted by the school for candidates appearing for the Secondary and Higher Secondary Board Examinations. (ICSE and ISC).
We aim to support each child in caring and stimulating atmosphere so the each student will develop the confidence, motivation and independence to achieve his/her potential in all subject areas.
